We’re Cécile and Julia, two former hockey players who spent their formative years deep in competitive sport, a world where performance is everything and everything else stays rather quiet.

Why we started
“That silence is too common.”
Cécile competed at the highest level of field hockey for years. Being a professional athlete for over a decade, she was close enough to witness what that environment does to people around her, and she started to understand why.
Julia lived inside the same world of pressure and comparison within top sport. That environment made her developing an eating disorder, and she carried it in silence for years. Be nice began so others do not have to carry it only with themselves.
